Keith Schultz

Community Workgroup Co-Lead 

Keith Shultz, Certified Prevention Specialist, has been working on Project Hope and the RCORP Planning grant since the beginning. He is currently working with the Community Workgroup and is focused on helping to recruit community members from Jefferson and surrounding counties for digital storytelling. He has been a co-lead in the process as well, providing vital information about Opioid Use Disorder and local conditions in Jefferson County.

Keith has been working in Substance Abuse Prevention for about 11 years, including over 3 years as the East Tennessee Liaison for the Tennessee Anti-tobacco Advocacy Initiative. He is currently the Assistant Director for Rescue 180, Jefferson County’s Substance Abuse Coalition. He is the Project Coordinator for the Block Grant with the Tennessee Department of Mental Health & Substance Abuse Service, which includes a range of Prevention activities involving projects to reduce the incidence of OUD among the full population in Jefferson County. He also serves on the Policy Committee for the Prevention Alliance of Tennessee.
