Project ECHO (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes) is a movement to demonopolize knowledge and amplify local capacity to provide best practice care for all people all over the world. The ECHO model is committed to addressing the needs of the most vulnerable populations by equipping communities with the right knowledge, at the right place, at the right time virtually.
The goal is to use technology to leverage scare resources, share best practices to reduce disparities, apply case-based learning to master complexity, evaluate and monitor outcomes, teach and learn. The topic chosen is Buprenorphine Medication Addiction Treatment.
The sessions consist of:
- Short didactic seminar followed by a discussion
- Case-study presentation followed by feedback of recommendations and/or questions (15-20 minutes)
